Prayer & Worship
Christ Church is a place of prayer, contemplation and worship. These words mean different things to different people - there is no ‘right way’. We happen to emphasise silence and contemplation during our weekday services and our Sunday evening Contemplative service. Our Sunday Morning Eucharist service contains hymns and a form of Anglican worship that is familiar to many. Whatever your background, whatever your experience, you are welcome. Come and sit. Take your time. Let silence and the psalms settle on your soul. Join us in our daily practice of opening our hearts and minds to God.
Contemplative Service
Sundays at 6.30 - 7.30pm

This is a form of Christian spiritual worship service that draws on spaciousness, silence and contemplative prayer practices for those who are seeking a deeper spirituality.

Meditation for Busy People
Tuesdays: 8-8:30am Inperson & online
Wednesdays: 6- 6:50pm In person

This is a space for 20/25 mins silent meditation using the John Main approach. This is free and open to anyone and appropriate for all no matter how much experience you have. Open to those setting up a meditation practice and those that have an established practice.

Sunday Morning Eucharist Service
Sundays 10.00 - 11.30am

This is a sacramental service of Holy Communion that seeks to include children in the service. On the first Sunday of the month we use story telling in an approach called ‘Godly Play’ where on other Sundays there is Sunday School for the Children.
